This Mother’s Day, Valley Health Foundation, is partnering with the County of Santa Clara to support the reopening of Labor & Delivery services at Regional Medical Center (RMC) and strengthening maternal and infant health programs across the region.
Your donation will help to expand access to critically needed health services, improve outcomes for high-risk babies, and ensure that every woman in Santa Clara County has the highest quality maternal care.
How Your Support Helps Mothers and Babies:
- Expand Access to Maternal Care for residents of East San Jose by reopening Labor & Delivery services at Regional Medical Center.
- High-Risk Pregnancy Care through the Maternal Fetal Medicine Program, offering specialized support from a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, dietitians, and social workers.
- Follow up for our Most Vulnerable Patients, the BRIDGE program supports NICU graduates and their families with home visits and resources to ensure healthy development after hospital discharge.
- Saving the Lives of Premature Infants, at Santa Clara Valley Healthcare’s Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, one of the most advanced in the region, is capable of caring for the tiniest and most medically fragile newborns often transferred from other hospitals by a dedicated infant transport team.
- Comprehensive Women’s Health Services, from preventive care and family planning to complex gynecologic and cancer care, all designed to support women at every stage of life.

Why This Matters
Santa Clara Valley Healthcare is the county’s public healthcare system, delivering high-quality patient-centered care for women, children, and families. This public healthcare delivery system includes Regional Medical Center, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, St. Louise Regional Hospital, O’Connor Hospital and 15 health centers.
