Supervisor Betty Duong, in partnership with the Valley Health Foundation, invites you to the 9th Annual Santa Clara County Women’s Leadership and Policy Summit—a powerful gathering of women, leaders, advocates, students, professionals, and community members committed to creating meaningful change throughout Santa Clara County.
This full-day event will feature a series of engaging workshops, thoughtful discussions, and community-centered activities to equip participants with the knowledge, tools, and networks to drive positive change in their communities.
Join us on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the San José State University Student Union for a full day of learning, connection, inspiration, and action.
This year’s summit will focus on Women Leading Change: Power in Action, celebrating the many ways women create change—in their families, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, organizations, and public institutions.
Change does not come from one person, one title, or one kind of leadership. It happens when each of us recognizes the strength we bring, contributes through the role we play, and works alongside others toward a shared purpose. Whether you lead from the front, organize behind the scenes, care for others, advocate for your community, build new ideas, support a team, or help turn a vision into reality, your contribution matters.
The Summit is an invitation to recognize your own power, strengthen your skills, uplift others, and put that power into action. Together, every strength, every role, and everyone can move change forward.
Program Highlights:
- Inspiring keynote speakers and community leaders
- Engaging policy and leadership panels
