Bazzy is just 7 years old. He survived a life‑threatening trauma thanks to the expert care at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. His journey is extraordinary. From critical care to becoming our Stars and Strides “Hero,” he shows what recovery can look like. Against all odds, he led our Kids Fun Run. Walking again once seemed impossible. His story proves our trauma care doesn’t just save lives. It restores futures.

The County of Santa Clara’s Refugee Health Assessment Program play an important role in providing healthcare services to newly arrived refugees, asylees, humanitarian parolees, special immigrant visa (SIV) holders, and victims of human trafficking.

In 2014, SCVMC began transforming its women and children’s services into a more welcoming, family-centered environment. By consolidating Obstetrics, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Pediatrics into one space, the new Women and Children’s Center provides a higher quality, more efficient care experience. Valley Health Foundation donors continue to make a profound impact, improving care, comfort, and outcomes for women, children, and families.
